深層矛盾未解決 社會充斥負能量
Deep-rooted contradictions remain unresolved,filling society with negative energy
上世紀英治年代，香港人被形容生活在借來的時間，借來的地方，港人只是這片土地的過客。回歸十五年多，港人對香港的歸屬感有增無減，港府卻大張旗鼓發起「家是香港」運動，簡直令人莫名其妙，港人幾時再次成為了香港的過客？
港府標榜「家是香港」是全民參與運動，未來八個月，全港各區將舉行逾四百八十多項相關活動及節目。不過，細看當局編訂的活動，其實大多數是各部門早已規劃的年度活動，不管如何也會舉行，當局巧立名目重新包裝，無非想為香港注入正能量。
香港社會為何要注入正能量？國家領導人過去已指出，香港社會存在五大深層次矛盾未解決，涵蓋政治、經濟、民生及教育等層面。然而，港府過往一直採取迴避態度，坐視深層次矛盾激化，不斷釋出負能量，亂象頻生，遺下多個管治難題。只有正確認識社會近年充斥負能量的成因，對症下藥，才是勇於承擔的表現。
空談誤國，實幹興邦，香港社會民怨沸騰，現屆政府聲稱施政急民所急，可是動員大量人力物力，東拼西湊推出「家是香港」運動，卻是一場捨本逐末政治騷，對大多數生活艱困的中下階層而言，這些流於口號式的全民運動，不搞也罷。
During the colonial era in the last century, Hong Kong people were described to be “living on borrowed time in borrowed space”. They were just sojourners in this enclave. During the past 15 years after the handover, Hong Kong people's sense of belonging has been ever increasing. At this juncture, without rhyme or reason, the Government suddenly launches the Hong Kong: Our Home campaign on a grand scale. When have Hong Kong people reverted to being sojourners?
The Government flaunts that Hong Kong: Our Home is a campaign for all. In the coming 8 months, some 480 events will be held in different districts across the territory. However, if one looks closely at the events, one would discover that most of them are actually annual activities that have already been planned for this year by various departments. They will be organized anyway no matter under what title. By concocting all sorts of pretexts to repackage the events, the Government's scheme is nothing but a vain attempt to inject positive energy into society.
Why does the Hong Kong society need an infusion of positive energy? State leaders have already pointed out in the past that there are 5 deep-rooted contradictions which remain unresolved in our society, covering areas such as politics, economy, livelihood and education. However, the Hong Kong Government has been adopting an evasive attitude and turning a blind eye to the intensification of these deep-rooted contradictions. Negative energy, continuously released, feeds the chaos in society, and manifests itself in the eruption of numerous governance problems. The Government should have the courage to shoulder the responsibility by diagnosing the real cause of the negative energy and then remedy accordingly.
Action speaks louder than words. While popular grievances run high, the Government claims that it would “address people's pressing needs”. Yet, in reality, it merely mobilizes huge manpower and resources to come up with a piecemeal Hong Kong: Our Home campaign. This is a political show that puts the cart before the horse. For the majority of grassroots who have difficulties even making ends meet, they would rather see the Government stop conducting such slogan-filled campaigns.
