寓學習於玩樂愉快環境中成長

家長當然個個望子成龍、望女成鳳，要為孩子鋪好人生道路，家長們必定會嚴選學校，藉以為子女選出最合適的優質學校，而一所好的幼稚園，正好為孩子打好學習基礎，成就美好人生。位於大埔的開心果國際幼稚園，提供K1至K3課程之外，亦開辦不少適合幼兒的興趣課程，以全英語形式上課，並由外籍老師授課，孩子能從小打好英語基礎。

開心果國際幼稚園是一所非牟利幼稚園，雖然學校並沒有列入政府的學券制中，但學校所收取的學費，全數用於學校資源，取於家長用於學生，把優質的資源投放到學生的教學之中，使幼兒在優良的教學環境中學習。

採英國初級基礎課程模式

該校的School Supervisor Ms. Neale表示，學校的幼稚園課程，以英國的「Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum（EYFS）」加上普通話為主：「這個EYFS是英國其中一個沿用多年的傳統教學方式，主要是希望小朋友透過自由活動的過程，發展六個不同的潛能，而且幼稚園班均會有普通話學習，希望從而加強小朋友不同的語文溝通能力。」而六大發展範圍，對小朋友日後的學習及成長十分重要，包括對世界的認知及了解、創意潛能發展、生理成長發展、語言溝通、個人及社交發展及數理發展，透過英國EYFS的課程，幼兒便能從不同的活動中學習，在愉快的環境下吸收知識。

UK Curriculum

The School Supervisor Ms. Neale said the kindergarten's curriculum is a carefully adapted U.K. Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS) with additional Mandarin. The EYFS is an excellent curriculum that has been developed in the U.K. over many years. There are six areas of the U.K. curriculum which are Knowledge and Understanding of the world, Physical development, Creative Development, Language and Literacy, Mathematical Development and Personal and Social Development. They will also have Mandarin classes to strengthen the ability of children to communicate in different languages.

主題式小班教學

開心果國際幼稚園是大埔區內三所國際學校的其中一所，所有老師均為外籍老師，每位老師也有多年教授經驗，學校並且採用小班教學模式，每班只有約十五名學生，並由一位老師及附帶一位助理上課，使師生比例維持於1：9。至於課堂的模式，則以活學活用為基礎，同學不會呆呆坐着學習，反而是透過活動形式的教學，使他們學習到各種應有的知識，包括語文、社交、生活知識等。

Play based thematic learning in small classes

All the teachers at Zebedee are native English teachers, who have many years of experience; class sizes are small and have around fifteen students per class offering a teacher-student ratio of 1:9. The school operates a free movement system where children may choose from a variety of activities to assist them in their learning.

同時開設幼兒興趣小組

另外，該校除了設有正規幼稚園之外，同時開辦不同的興趣班，例如劍橋英語證書班、開心學英文、開心拼音班、英文親子班、普通話親子班、英語小組、開心英語演藝會、開心跳不停、開心手工藝、開心唱遊樂等。所有課程除了普通話親子班外，均以英語教學，課程適合歲半至七歲的小朋友參加，使兒童從小培養英語能力。

Extra curricular classes

In addition to formal kindergarten education, children can attend a wide range of extra curricular classes, such as the Cambridge YLE Certificate course, English and Mandarin Learn through Play, English and Mandarin Playgroup, English language classes, English Drama, Art, Dance and Kindermusik. All courses except Mandarin classes are conducted in English by native English teachers and are ideal for children to participate from a young age and begin the process of develop English proficiency from an early age.

校園開放日

為讓家長深入了解幼稚園的教學及環境，開心果國際幼稚園將舉行開放日，家長可以親身走進校園中感受學校環境，而且更有機會與學校老師接觸，老師亦會向家長講解學校的教育目標。

Open Day

Parents are welcome to come and visit the kindergarten on the upcoming open days, there will be opportunities to look around the school environment, meet with the teachers and ask questions about the curriculum.
