一言為定：一百年的紅酒
朋友宴客時開了一瓶1900年的紅酒，大家都對這百年老酒讚不絕口，唯獨我不識抬舉說：「好似有啲餲。」（餲，即有陣尿味）一個世紀老的酒變壞了一點也不出奇，只是大家都不好意思開聲，照飲。
英國作家William Ralph Inge說：「有兩種蠢材，一種說：『這是舊的，所以是好的。』；另一種說：『這是新的，所以更好。』」*「這是新的所以更好」的例子莫過於男人貪新厭舊，拋棄同甘共苦的糟糠，娶一個只會扮靚買衫的後生女。
