周潤發電影出鏡

生於上海的劉怡劼，今年初參加C-Star全英華人歌曲大賽，在七百名參賽者中得到亞軍，其中一名評委是知名音樂人貝納姆，他稍後邀請劉怡劼合作出唱片，兩人一同創作及錄製兩首單曲，劉怡劼的首支單曲《Free and Single》及《Not So Innocent》，並於iTunes正式發行，早前她也應邀在周潤發主演的荷里活電影《諜海風雲》演出。

英國樂壇競爭激烈，華裔歌手罕有在當地發行唱片，劉怡劼表示，合作單位曾說她的形象比較國際化。雖然她很年輕，但追求目標清晰，她說小時候移居南非時，經歷過多宗搶劫事件，令她意識到生命脆弱及短暫，自此下定決心追求夢想。
